Everything ProgressCove does
The full feature list: areas, projects and subtasks, repeats that understand a missed day, soup of the day, household sharing, Home Assistant, and export in three formats.
32 features, last checked October 3, 2026. Where something is on one platform and not yet another, it says so.
The calm part
The reason the app exists: a to-do list that never tells you off.
Nothing is ever overdue Only here
There is no overdue state anywhere. A task you have not done yet is simply ongoing: no red, no flags, no count of how late you are.
Calm mode Only here
One switch turns off due dates, times and reminders entirely, so nothing is ever due or nagging. Repeats keep working, because a repeat is a rhythm rather than a deadline.
Progress, not what is left
Projects show how far you have come, as a bar and as "3 of 6 done". Never a count of what you still owe.
Keep finished work visible
Choose how long completed items stay on screen, from immediately to never, globally or per item, so your done work can sit there as evidence.
Backgrounds and comfort
Sunrise, Sunset, Ocean, Flame, Twilight and Fireplace backgrounds, light or dark, plus a roomier layout and four text sizes that follow your account across devices.
Organizing
One tree, your vocabulary, as deep or as flat as you like.
Smart ordering Only here
The list quietly reorders itself overnight: fresh work rises for a day or two, nearly-finished work jumps to the top, and work you have forgotten resurfaces as it ages. Your own drag order is kept on top of it, and you can switch the whole thing off and keep your order exactly as you left it.
Your own words for every level Only here
Life areas hold projects, projects hold tasks, tasks hold subtasks, and you can rename every level to the words you actually use.
An inbox for anything unsorted
Capture first and file later. Anything without a home lands in Unsorted.
Tags
Named tags with their own colour and icon, usable as a filter over any view.
Task dependencies Only here
Mark that one task depends on another, and see what a task is blocking. Usually a heavyweight project-management feature.
Notes on anything
A free-text note on any item, encrypted at rest like everything else you type.
A starting point
Begin from a prebuilt set of areas and projects and keep the parts you want, instead of facing an empty list.
Dates and repeats
Optional everywhere, and honest about what a missed day means.
Start and due dates, both optional
Give something a start date, a due date, both or neither, with or without a time.
A subtask cannot outlive its project Only here
A child item cannot be scheduled past its parent's due date, so a plan stays internally consistent instead of quietly drifting.
Repeats in plain words
Type "every Monday" or "every 2 weeks" instead of building a rule out of dropdowns.
What a missed day means Only here
Choose per task: on schedule, like garbage pickup, where a missed day quietly becomes the next one, or after I finish, like changing a filter, where it waits for you.
Coming to Android and iOS in the next release.
Reminders
More than one reminder per task, delivered to your phone, with snooze.
Set them on the web; they arrive on your phone.
My Day
Today in three sections: what is due, what is ongoing, and the day's reminders. Filter by area or tag, and collapse an endless repeat to just its next occurrence.
Home screen widget
My Day on your home screen, with the sections you choose and a refresh interval you set.
Capture without opening the app
A persistent notification that takes a task straight to your inbox.
Soup of the day
The feature nobody else has.
A repeating task that rotates through its own subtasks Only here
Turn one repeating task into a pool: each time it comes round you get the next item, not all of them. One "tidy a room" task that cycles the rooms, or a dinner rotation. Walk the pool once, loop it forever, or shuffle it.
Your household
One subscription, everyone who lives with you.
One plan covers the house
Not per seat. Share the chores project with everyone while your own areas stay private.
Profiles for people without an account Only here
Give a child or a shared list its own profile with no email and no login, managed under your account and covered by your plan.
Switch profiles with a PIN
A PIN or your fingerprint moves between profiles on a shared device.
Share one thing, not everything
Share a single project or task. The person you share with sees where it sits without getting the rest of your tree.
Where it runs
The same account everywhere, including places a to-do app does not usually go.
Android, iOS and the web
A full app on each, not a phone app with a cut-down website. Works offline on the phone and syncs when you are back.
Home Assistant, built by us Only here
Your lists become Home Assistant to-do lists, tasks become buttons or switches for a wall tablet, and three dashboard cards ship with it, including a wall of chore tiles that light up only on the day they are due. Works with voice assistants.
Tokens you have to pair Only here
Connect an outside tool with a token that does nothing until you confirm it with a code shown in the app, and choose whether it may only read or also write.
Your data
Yours to read, yours to take.
Export in three formats Only here
CSV for a spreadsheet, Markdown for a readable outline, JSON for everything including tags, reminders and links. Any time, including after a trial ends.
Encrypted at rest
Task names, project names and note bodies are encrypted on our servers.
Lock the app
Keep the app behind your device PIN, pattern or fingerprint.
Diagnostics are opt in
Anonymous device information, asked for once and off unless you say yes. No behaviour tracking.
Start in your browser
Free for 14 days, no card required, and your data is exportable from the first day to the last.
